The front and side fairings have been redone too and the bikes now also get a bigger 13.7-litre fuel tank compared to 9.5 litres earlier. There is a new LCD instrument cluster clip-on handlebars and lighter wheels and brakes that make the RC 125 now weigh 150 kilograms while the new RC 200 weighs 151 kilograms.

The new RC 125 comes powered by a 124.7 cc engine that produces 15 horsepower and 12 Nm of peak torque. The RC 200 on the other hand gets a 199.5 cc engine producing 26 horsepower and 19.5 Nm of peak torque. While power figures remain the same the 4.4 kilograms reduction in overall weight of the two motorcycles should help in offering better performance.
